With a high level of efficiency, low emissions and virtually no cloud of steam, the thermal waste treatment plant run by the cantonal special-purpose association TRIDEL meets all the requirements of a facility located near an urban recreation area. Lausanne’s plant with state-of-the-art technology replaced what had once been the oldest plant of its kind in the world still in operation.
