Osaka-based Hitachi Zosen Corporation won the order for an Waste to Energy (WtE) plant in Thailand’s Nong Khai Province. The order was placed by KPN Green Energy Solution Co., one of the country’s leading renewable energy companies, who is in charge of the engineering, procurement and construction work of the station. Hitachi Zosen will provide the technologies for incineration and flue gas treatment.
Once finished, the 6 MW WtE plant will be operated by Nongkhainayu Co. who has a 25-year waste processing contract with local government.
