New CEO at Hitachi Zosen Inova

I am delighted to inform you that Franz-Josef Mengede is the new CEO of Hitachi Zosen Inova. With this appointment, we have secured the services of a manager with many years’ experience in engineering and an excellent network of contacts in Switzerland and abroad. Mr Mengede already worked with Von Roll Inova from 2005 to 2008 as COO and latterly as CEO. From 2008 until the beginning of 2013, he was in charge of the Global Business Unit “Power Generation” at ABB as Group Senior Vice President.
Franz-Josef Mengede will take up his position in Zurich on August 5, 2013. Seiji Shimoda, who has been acting as ad interim CEO since last November, will continue to support Hitachi Zosen Inova in his original role as CTO. The Executive Board of Hitachi Zosen Inova is completed by CFO Axel Greschitz, who has been performing this role for us since 2009.
