HZI appoints Ruedi Kummer as new Operations Director
HZI’s new Operations Director will bring a wealth of operational experience in Waste to Energy to give the green-tech company even greater industry know-how.
Hitachi Zosen Inova (HZI) has announced the appointment of Ruedi Kummer as its new Operations Director. As well as being a member of HZI’s Systems & Service Solutions management team, Mr Kummer will also take up the operational leadership of the company’s Energy-from-Waste Service Projects, Operations & Maintenance and Global Engineering Pool.
Mr Kummer brings more than 25 years of invaluable experience in various leadership roles as an operator within the Waste to Energy sector. He is currently Managing Director of Renergia Zentralschweiz AG, a position he has held since 2015.
On the appointment of Mr Kummer, HZI’s Vice President of Service Solutions Thomas Feilenreiter said: “Combining Ruedi’s long-term operational experience with HZI’s industry-leading technologies will help us position HZI Service Solutions much closer to our customers, so that we can offer a more complete range of service solutions as well as long-term service agreements.”
Mr Kummer will join HZI on 1 March 2023, as part of the company’s Systems & Service Solutions business unit.
