HZI BioMethan is located right at the heart of the Elbe-Weser triangle, with a large company site, including offices and manufacturing facilities, on the edge of the town of Zeven. There are excellent links to Hamburg and Bremen via the A1 motorway (only 5 km away).
The environment is relaxed, with generous air-conditioned offices, modern workspaces and a view of the countryside. The canteen on the ground floor offers healthy, varied meals subsidised by the company. There are also break rooms with coffee machines and water coolers. HZI UK is located at The Hub, Farnborough Business Park (FBP), which is the workplace for approximately 10,000 people working for various companies. FBP is strategically located minutes from the M3, and is easily accessible by road, rail and air, with a mainline train station located just over a mile away from the business park. Central London is just 40 miles away and London Heathrow Airport only 25 miles. A regular shuttle bus service provided by FBP runs between the town centre, train stations and the business park.

With a population of around 1.1 million, Cologne is the biggest city in North Rhine-Westphalia and the heart and economic powerhouse of the region. Our offices are in Dellbrück in the northeastern part of the city on a truly historic piece of land called Leskan Park. This is where Walther & Cie., a company that started business more than 100 years ago, used to manufacture fire extinguishers and boilers.
Part of the Leskan Park is is the Leskan Bistro, which offers freshly prepared meals and snacks over lunchtime. There are many more places to eat and shop only a few minutes’ walk away on Dellbrück main street. Leskan Park is right next to Dellbrück Heath nature reserve, an ideal place for a walk in beautiful natural surroundings.

Hitachi Zosen Inova Slovakia works out of Levice, a city with a population of some 33,000 people around 110 km east of Bratislava. The Levice region has long been a strong player in the energy business – with companies ranging from boiler manufacturers to power engineering specialists and one of Slovakia’s two nuclear power plants.
The office is located in a former industrial building that once belonged to one of the largest textile manufacturers in former Czechoslovakia. It can be easily reached by car or public transport. From the train station it’s a leisurely walk of only 15 minutes. An unmissable feature of the building is the historic paternoster lift that might be one of the last working lifts of this kind in Slovakia. A ride in it is an unforgettable experience, but not everyone is brave enough to try it.
You will find a number of supermarkets, restaurants and little shops within walking distance of the building. Most restaurants also offer food delivery. For those who like to exercise during their lunch break, there’s a newly refurbished sports ground close by. The surrounding villages offer some great ways of spending your free time, whether you prefer hiking or walking, history, wine tasting, fishing or just enjoying a coffee or drink in one of many coffee places and bars.
The nearest airport is in Bratislava, although most foreign visitors use Vienna Airport (200 km from Levice) or Budapest Airport (150 km from Levice).
