Hitachi Zosen Inova and PJSC ZiO-Podolsk Have Signed Consortium Agreement

On 16 April 2019 Hitachi Zosen Inova (HZI) and PJSC ZiO-Podolsk, a subsidiary of Atomenergomash (Russia) signed a Consortium Agreement for the cooperation in the construction of four Waste to Energy (WtE) plants in the Moscow region. HZI will act as technology supplier within the consortium, whereas PJSC ZiO-Podolsk delivers manufacturing services of the power island equipment for the WtE plants.
Anatoly Smirnov, General Director at PJSC ZiO-Podolsk, underlines that: “The signing of this agreement is an important step towards development of constructive and long-term relations with Hitachi Zosen Inova. The modern technological solutions, including international cooperation with one of the world leaders in the WtE area will be provided to the customer.”
Andres Kronenberg, Chief Business Development at HZI, adds: “With PJSC ZiO-Podolsk we have the best positioned partner to manufacture WtE equipment in Russia. With this agreement, which we see as a first step towards more collaboration together, both our companies will contribute massively to the successful implementation of WtE plants in Russia.”
