Arrangement Planner

As an Arrangement Planner you’re responsible for planning plant components in 3D software and working out technical specifications. You draw up project plans, installation and detailed drawings, and customer documentation. In addition you lead sub-projects, and are an important point of contact for the Technical Project Manager. Part of your job (5-10%) involves travel, visiting our suppliers’ premises for quality acceptance.

Process Engineer, Execution

As a Process Engineer you’re responsible for the process specifications of a range of different systems, as well as creating piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), engineering lists and functional descriptions for programming control systems. Your job is to support the project team throughout delivery and commissioning, including on-site presence (travel accounts for around 20% of your job), and serving as the point of contact for all process-related matters. You’re involved, and contribute your knowledge, right from the proposal stage.

As a Process Engineering Manager you lead a team of process engineers and assure the quality and timely availability of all engineering documentation for proposal, delivery and warranty projects. You are responsible for making sure that all the relevant process-technology-related standards and guidelines are complied with in our Waste to Energy projects. You develop and optimise processes and work closely with R&D and various specialist departments.

Profile: FH (university of applied sciences)/ETH engineer with a very good knowledge of process workflows and engineering tools, plus experience as a process engineer and manager.

Manager Engineering Execution

As an Engineering Execution Manager you lead a team of process engineers, electrical engineers and arrangement planners. You’re in charge of making sure that planning work conducted as part of renewable gas projects is executed in line with internal and external standards and guidelines and the project requirements. You develop and optimise processes and work closely with R&D and various specialist departments.

Director Project Systems & Service

As Project Systems & Service Director you’re responsible for planning and leading project managers on international lot and retrofit projects. It’s your job to make sure that all projects and services are delivered on schedule and in accordance with the relevant guidelines and client requirements. You also work closely on an ongoing basis with other departments and HZI subsidiaries to expand customer services, and play a lead role in proposals.

As Project Director you’re responsible for the commercial, contractually-compliant delivery of complex large plant projects all over the world. You serve as our clients’ principal point of contact, and deliver the project together with your project team in Zurich and employees on site (often up to 1,000 people on the construction site).

Project Controller

As a Project Controller you support our projects on the financial side by doing regular project forecasts, documenting project budgets and progress, and monitoring the costs of sales as well as any divergence. Your role also includes compiling invoices to our customers and making sure the project is correctly captured in SAP. In addition, you will work with our project team to draw up the financial section of the project report and present it to our management.

You coordinate complex procurement processes and monitor the time schedule and budget.
