The quality of our products and services is a key element in implementing the HZI vision, mission and related strategy. Our quality policy is based on four fundamental principles:

  • Customer orientation – We want to establish what the requirements and expectations of our customers are trough intensive dialogue and respond with solutions that are precisely tailored to their needs
  • Employee development – When it comes to implementing our services, our employees are our most imporant asset. Our aim is to ensure that all employees enjoy working for the company and have a high degree of job satisfaction.
  • Process management – We ensure that our product and services are provided under defined and controlled conditions in compliance with the legal provisions and that factors that have an adverse effect on quality are identified early  and eliminated.
  • Continuous improvement – The requirements on the process perfomance and the quality of our products are defined by appropriated internal indicators, the particular customer requirements and, where appropriated, set by law.

As quality is so essential to the success of our company, back in 1992 HZI introduced a comprehensive quality management system in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard. The system has also been certified since that time. Continuously enhanced over the years, today Hitachi Zosen Inova’s quality management system is part of an overall process management system that covers quality, health & safety, and the environment.
