Executive Board

Bruno-Frédéric BaudouinBruno-Frédéric Baudouin, Chief Executive Officer & Member of the Supervisory Board Before taking over as CEO of Hitachi Zosen Inova in January 2018 Bruno-Frédéric Baudouin was Operations General Manager for Europe, Africa & large EPC projects worldwide in the Gas Power Systems Division at GE Power, Switzerland. He brings with him many years’ experience in the energy sector, having held a range of managerial positions in Switzerland and abroad.
Bruno-Frédéric Baudouin holds two Master of Science of École Polytechnique & École Nationale du Petrole et des Moteurs in France, as well as a Master of Business & Administration of INSEAD in France.


Andres KronenbergAndres Kronenberg, Chief Business Development, joined Von Roll Environment Technology Ltd. in 1994 as a project manager, becoming Head of Marketing, Sales and Proposals in 2004. From 2011 to 2013 he headed global market development for renewable power plants at ABB. On his return to HZI in 2013, Andres played a key role in expanding the business portfolio towards organic waste management and in the Kompogas takeover. Since November 2017 he has headed Group Business Development at HZI, and in April 2018 was appointed to the HZI Executive Board. Andres Kronenberg studied chemical engineering before doing a postgraduate diploma in environmental technology and a master’s in business administration.


Axel Greschitz, CFOAxel Greschitz, Chief Financial Officer, has served as CFO and Head of Hitachi Zosen Inova AG’s Shared Service Center since December, 2010. He joined the company as CFO in April 2009, and in 2010 held the position of Senior Vice President Finance for the Energy from Waste Division. In April 2002 Axel Greschitz joined the AE&E Group, working in the Commercial and Legal departments. In addition to this he was CFO and member of the Management Board of AE&E Austria GmbH from 2006 to 2009. Prior to this Axel Greschitz held accounting, auditing, tax and consulting positions with various companies in Austria and Germany. Axel Greschitz holds a master’s degree in business administration (Mag.rer.soc.oec.) from the University of Graz in Austria.

Supervisory Board

Michi Kuwahara, Chairman of the Board Michi Kuwahara, Chairman of the Supervisory Board After the acquisition in December 2010 by Hitachi Zosen Corporation (HZC), Michi Kuwahara served as a Member of the Supervisory Board of Hitachi Zosen Inova. He was significantly involved in both the integration process and the development of HZI as part of HZC. Since joining Hitachi Zosen Corporation in 1986, he has held various leadership roles in the finance sector in both the US as well as Japan.
Since March 2015, Mr Kuwahara has served as Associate Executive Officer and General Manager at HZC’s Corporate Planning Department and since April 2018, he is a member of the Executive Officers at Hitachi Zosen Corporation.


Kazuhisa Yamamoto, Member of the BoardKazuhisa Yamamoto, Member of the Supervisory Board, has been a member of the Board of Directors of Hitachi Zosen Inova AG since April, 2018. Following a degree in environmental engineering from Osaka University, in 1982 he joined Hitachi Zosen Corporation’s Environmental Systems Design & Engineering Department. He subsequently performed various roles within the organization, including spells at Environment & Solutions Headquarters, Engineering Headquarters, and Energy & Plant Headquarters. He is currently General Manager of Environment Business Headquarters and a member of the Board of Directors at Hitachi Zosen Corporation head office in Osaka.


Yutaka Sugimoto, Member of the BoardYutaka Sugimoto, Member of the Supervisory Board, has been a member of Hitachi Zosen Inova’s Supervisory Board since April 2017. After graduating from Osaka University for Foreign Studies in 1988, he held various positions at international banks including HSBC, BNP Paribas and Société Générale, where he dealt with major Japanese corporations such as Panasonic, Kyocera, Sumitomo Electric, Itochu, and with utility companies. Since joining Hitachi Zosen Corporation in 2014, he has been providing overall business advice for HZI and supporting HZC regarding financial matters with commercial and government-owned financial institutions. Yutaka Sugimoto also holds an MBA (Venture Business and Finance) from Kobe University.
